Complimentary Week Pass
For as long as I can remember, my parents and I would set time to celebrate the year and set our new year goals together dedicating at least one to the following categories: health/wellness, personal, professional, philanthropic. At the end of the year we would all sit down together and talk through how we felt we each did in achieving what we had set out twelve months earlier. It is always interesting to hear how those closest to you feel you did compared to your own feelings of accomplishment (or lack thereof in some cases :). Then we would discuss and set our goals for the coming year. Mom and I have continued this tradition and just a couple weeks ago made the time to celebrate our accomplishments in 2017 (we both did quite well in what we set out to do for the year) and set our goals for 2018.
I wanted to share a couple of my goals for 2018 with you and would love to hear from you as well!
Jess’ 2018 Goals:
•Meditate for an average of 3x week (in complete transparency, I’m already off to a slow start with this one)
•Do 1 new personal growth activity per month (i.e. voice lessons in January)
•Participate in one professional educational session/month (i.e. read a business book, attend a continuing education class)
•Reach our $50,000 annual fundraising goal for the Merrell Family Foundation (you can learn more about our foundation by clicking on this link)
