The holiday season is upon us and so we chose Performance as the theme for this month to help you stay focused on YOU during the business of the season. Take some time throughout the month to check in with yourself and make sure you are performing at your very best in all aspects of your life. Below are some ideas we hope will help you to achieve this.
Nutrition: the holidays are filled with socializing and parties which usually involve an abundance of eating and drinking. We are pleased to introduce our new Registered Dietitian, Noelle Forkey. Please come in and meet Noelle. She is available to assist you in making smarter choices throughout the holiday season.
Fitness: keeping the balance of work, family and fun can be accomplished by including your family, friends and even coworkers in your fitness routine. Not only will it help you manage the “calories in” versus “calories out,” but you’ll be investing in these important relationships at the same time. Giving Back: the Ultima family values how fortunate we are and, as such, will continue our involvement in giving back to the community and those less fortunate. Through our partnership with the Village of Wellington’s Community Projects department, we are able to bring awareness and aid to the people that need it most in our own backyard. Please help us by donating healthy items that will make a family’s Thanksgiving meal a special one. The donation box is located at the front of the club.
If we continually make an effort to perform at our best we can close out 2016 feeling happy and healthy with a great head start on 2017. We hope that you feel we are performing at our best in assisting you in your fitness and wellness goals.
