    Do you have difficulty performing simple daily tasks such as tying your shoes or getting dressed?  If so, you are not alone.  As we grow older, we all face similar challenges regarding our overall well-being. Some of these challenges may include decreased strength, balance and endurance as well as increased risk for falls and injuries.  There are many modalities available to us all that can assist in maintaining or even increasing our level of function.  Some of these modalities include older adult fitness classes, yoga to improve flexibility and balance, strength training which increases bone density thereby reducing the risk of Osteopenia/Osteoporosis related fractures, as well as several other group fitness classes geared to cardiopulmonary health.

    Here at Ultima Fitness and Wellness, we emphasize not only physical fitness but overall wellness including spiritual and emotional well-being. Our Wellness Center offers a variety of holistic interventions including acupuncture, massage therapy, nutritional counseling and several other natural approaches to increase all aspects of health and well-being. Our primary approach to health and fitness is through prevention. However, these holistic measures can also decrease recovery time after an illness or injury, helping to restore previous level of physical function.
