Since being in the fitness world for so long, I’ve always felt that group fitness was one of the best ways to stay motivated with one’s exercise program. You really do inspire each other to keep going and reach your fitness goals.
Yoga means union. Yoga accepts people of all beliefs and encourages a deepening of one’s beliefs through their practice. This not only unites mind and body, but can unite people as well, bringing together like minds in an open and friendly environment.
Community became very important during my pregnancy for sharing stories and giving support. Now, as a new mom myself, I’m grateful for this network of friends to compare notes with and share suggestions and experiences. It truly does take a village…
I’m very excited to be starting a Prenatal Yoga class at Ultima Fitness. This heartfelt class shows you how to safely strengthen your abdominals and maintain good posture during your pregnancy. Yoga is a wonderful way to connect mind and body during this beautiful journey. It also connects you with a community of women that are on this same journey.
It’s nice to be able to get the entire family involved in exercise. Baby & Me Yoga enables us to introduce our children at a young age to a fun yoga practice of their own with lots of interaction with mom or dad.
I thoroughly enjoy sharing my love of fitness and creating an encouraging environment in my classes. I obtained my Yoga, Prenatal/Postnatal and Baby & Me certifications from New York City’s Pure Yoga and went on to teach for them. I’m also a certified Barre, TRX, and AFAA Group Exercise Instructor. For 12 years, I was a Radio City Rockette and trained celebrities to prepare for upcoming TV and movie roles. My husband and I recently moved here from New York to raise our daughter Addison who is now 8 months old. I’m very excited to be a part of the Ultima Fitness team and look forward to seeing you in class.
